Holding On to Our Humanity

I know this is a health-based space, and I always talk about healing the body, the mind, and the spirit, but here’s the thing, our health isn’t just about nutrition, exercise, or even mental wellness. The health of our soul, our families, our faith, and our freedoms matters just as much; and right now, those things are under attack. When truth is silenced and faith is mocked, it weighs on the human spirit. And that is a health issue, because when our spirit is crushed, our whole being suffers.
Charlie Kirk’s death hit me like a punch to the gut. Not because he was perfect, nobody is, but because he was fearless. He said what needed to be said when others stayed quiet. He stood up when it wasn’t popular and the fact that so many tried to silence him proves just how desperate the far left is to erase truth, erase courage, erase humanity itself.
Let’s be honest, they don’t just disagree with us, they despise everything that keeps us strong. They hate faith because it gives us hope. They mock the family because it keeps us rooted. They reject love unless it fits their narrative and they want to shut down free speech because truth threatens their control.
We’re watching it play out everywhere; churches and synagogues burned, vandalized, or attacked in Europe, the U.S., and across the globe. Believers gathering to worship in peace are being targeted. Families are mocked. People of faith are treated like enemies for daring to hold on to God. If that doesn’t tell you this is spiritual warfare, I don’t know what does.
Scripture warned us: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil” (Isaiah 5:20). “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12). That’s what we’re up against. This isn’t just politics, it’s a battle for the soul of humanity.
While they scream about “tolerance,” they are the most intolerant of all. You know what else they’ve twisted? Patriotism. Since when did loving your country become “hateful”? Since when did flying your flag mean you’re a racist? Enough is enough. Patriotism isn’t hate, it’s honor. It’s pride. It’s love and I refuse to let a loud, bitter minority shame me or anyone else out of standing strong for the nation I love.
We cannot buckle, not for them. Not now. Not ever, because if we give in, we’re not just surrendering our voices, we’re surrendering the future of our children and grandchildren and I refuse to hand them a world where freedom is just a memory.
So, this is where we draw the line. We love our humanity. We love our families. We love our faith. We love our freedom. We love our country, and we’re not going to apologize for it.
Charlie’s fire doesn’t die with him, it gets passed on to us and if you’re reading this, it’s in your hands too. Don’t whisper when you should shout. Don’t bow when you should stand tall. Speak truth. Protect your family. Be bold in your faith. Love this country without apology. This is the moment. Stay strong. Stay loud. Stay human.
